We were thrilled to be asked to be the floral designers for Carole & David’s wedding at the magnificant Tithe Barn near Petersfield. The barn itself has been converted to create an extremely spacious and commanding wedding venue, set in a country location on the outskirts of the town.
Carole & David chose the venue’s recommended photographer who managed to capture some wonderful memories of their day. We are very pleased to share some of these images showing the wonderful ranges of colour the couple we keen to show. In honour of their travelling Carole & David liked the idea of a ‘Phileas Fogg’ theme for the floral designs. We created a huge 4ft hot air balloon wall hanging which became one of the focal points for the day. In addition we designed a 7ft garland of flowers to adorn some stacked suitcases and table centres to represent hot air balloons. The bride and groom spent lots of time creating ‘balloon’ lampshades with decorative detail and lights for each table centre, along with tiny sandbags attached to the baskets of flowers we created.
Thank you to Steve Kentish Photography for sharing beautiful images of the day with us
